Eastern Mediterranean food is just generally GOATED. "Oh hey lets dipped spiced meat into fatty sauces with fresh flat bread!" Brilliant, human cuisine peaked there.
Also home to a lot of goated vegetarian food (the falafel for example), showing that meat is not the only option
I used to eat fried zucchini balls from a Greek place I lived near back in my home town of Baltimore (Balmor as we all it). That shit slapped.
