No, it was started on a state by state basis with Nebraska and South Dakota being the first states to fully outlaw in 1975.

It wasn't until 1993 until is was considered rape in all the states. Still to this day though marital rape is treated differently in some states.

Oh, but wasn't that the last case in 1993? There's some connection there

You could be right, but without more to go on I couldn't find anything.

In 1993 the last two states to make it illegal was Oklahoma and North Carolina.

Here is a discussion of a landmark case in Oregon.

One thing about AI search I've noticed is that it's a lot harder to find inconvenient information on things like this.

The closest thing I could find was that she walked back the claim and endorsed him for president. I wonder if this is related to how she fell down the stairs and got buried on the back 9

Oh yes, I knew about his spousal rape way back in 2000 when it was brought up in an article I read. My wife remembers him on a show like the lifestyles of the rich and famous where Trump explains that he records everything on his property and uses the recordings to influence people. Basically admitting he was a black mailer.

He was known as a racist, a thief, a liar and a conman before he was reincarnated on The Apprentice which is a yet another very interesting story. Imagine my horror when he ran for Presidency a second time in 2016. But I digress.

Ivana was very open about the rape and there is no doubt it happened. She was also adamant that it should not affect his ability to do business. Apparently she was paid well to keep her mouth shut and even repent what she said about the rape. He eventually buried her on a golf course for a tax break after a fall from the stairs.

Yeah I think she tried to get another payday and got pushed down the stairs instead
