I just thought it'd be hilarious if a dev named their game, like, "Warhound 2" or something when there was never an original "Warhound" lol (and like, do so seriously, not just as a parody or joke, at least primarily so).

I mean, team fortress two was the first game in the series. Team fortress “1” having been a mod for a different game.

Team Fortress Classic was the first stand alone game in the series, sold as its own thing if we're not gonna count the original Quake mod.
