Corvids refers to birds belonging to the family Corvidae. Typically associated with birds in the genus Corvus, which includes crows, ravens, and loyalist primarchs, these "true crows" only make up 47 of the 135 current species. Corvids have native habitats in almost every place on Earth, and cover a wide variety of birds from the aforementioned crows and ravens to magpies, jays, and nutcrackers.
I'm gonna try and update the thread with a new corvid each day of the week, there's a lot of beautiful plummage on some corvids and also a lot of just like little gremlins, so hopefully that'll be kinda fun.

Listened to my cis coworker jawing about her mental health and how it's hard to know if it's just a normal reaction to a sucky society then she makes the aside that "dysphoria wouldn't exist if we didn't have gender societally" and it just made me mad... Is that bad
No, it pisses me off and shows a fundamental misunderstanding of (or worse, not listening to) trans voices. Also if she took two seconds to think about it she'd realize she wouldn't like growing body hair, facial hair, losing her tits, her voice dropping, slowly looking like a man..
Or maybe she'd realize she wasn't cis. Granted, I've still seen denial at that point...

I think its reasonable to be mad about it. I used to think dysphoria was just about the social-side of things and didn't know there was more to it. I was pretty ignorant. I'd hope people are more informed on average nowadays, but unfortunately there's so much misinformation about us and dominant narratives that make it hard to be well-informed by cultural osmosis...
No that should make you mad. I'm pretty sure Julia Serano wrote about this? I really need to read her works and this is a good reminder. Unfortunately the quote I vaguely remember being about this I only know because I saw it in the context of someone trying to frame her as being non-binary phobic, but this sort of attitude was an actual problem in lgbtq+ spaces and even trans spaces at one point where non-binary was more commonly used to refer to people who don't want to medically transition, who don't experience dysphoria because of their bodies, and were presented or thought of themselves as more enlightened because of it. I don't see this in the trans spaces I've been in anymore fortunately, but it looks like the vestiges of this are still out there it seems.
There is no world in which I don't experience dysphoria due to my body producing too much T, too little E, and having a penis. Any suggestions otherwise is transphobic.
She could be agender and not know it. It took me years of talking to trans people to be convinced that gender is a real thing people feel inside.
