First game I ever made custom tracks on... as like, a 5 year old. I was more into making tracks than racing them, which is something that hasn't changed in the past few decades.
Lol, I too was amazed at about that age how the game just let you do it, anything you wanted, amazing!
(Unlike you my last custom level was in UnrealEd ... the original. Well, and a few Blender visualisations.)
I member doing a bunch of those open bridges in a row (actually two rows making it an overall track) & then trying for best time with that formula (it was a bit tricky to not jump too far & miss the next bridge).
After I had enough I would go for a relaxing drive in Test Drive 3 (it had chickens, trains, snow, etc).
