I up voted because I'm not a fan. Not that the overall premise is wrong, it's that I love driving.
Hey friend, I have a few million kilometres under my butt, and we have three vehicles in the household, and I use car culture daily to explain technology to my clients.
But, you know, ummm, fuck cars for real. Planet is dying and culture is malnourished due to road supremacy.
I don't disagree with any of your arguments. I'm all for public transit and better modes of transportation or building cities to not need them nearly as much.
And I still love driving.
