huh the rich are getting richer but the poor are getting poorer what a historical anomaly that r > g if only someone would write a book about this
the unprecedented part is that unemployment is low, but they cannot fathom why are people getting poorer and the wages are not rising. destroying unions and deskilling people from high productivity professions in manufacturing to low productivity professions like delivery driver and coffee shop barista (or just services in general) does not seem to register for them at all.
It's like there's this weird shape in the area of the rich graph that can fit the area of the poor graph ๐ค๐ค
