I told my partner it'd be fine having this appointment before her job interview, there's plenty of time, well, it's 25 minutes in and the fucking doctor still hasn't come in. It's supposed to be a fucking 30 minute appointment!

and FURTHERMORE she's the one who scheduled all this and the reason I wanted to reassure her that it would be fine was because she was talking about rescheduling the doctor's visit and I didn't want her to delay getting checked out for stomach cancer because she's lost like 1/6th her weight in a year with no dietary or exercise changes

Well that's a legitimate concern. Me personally I would have at least tried to move the doctors appointment if possible. But sometimes it's hard to rebook and then if you have a new job might not be able to get time off. So I agree its a conundrum if they can't get you in again before the potential start date of new job.

But that's capitalism; not really anybody's fault who you might have been in a position to punish by losing it at them. I'd rather get your frustrations at me than towards the workers at the desk.

Sounds like it worked out in the end schedule wise. Hope everything else goes in a good way.
