In short, there is a biological basis for interest in those sweaty pits, at the strategic level of survival.
So if I spray my armpits with WILDLY different genes and odors, like fish saliva or snake piss, I will be more attractive? Thanks science, I am gonna try it immediately.

To snakes and fish, yeah. I used to use old spice and bees would try to drink my eye juices, no joke. I also wore Hawaiian shirts. Coincidence? I think maybe.
