Work Reform

A place to discuss positive changes that can make work more equitable, and to vent about current practices. We are NOT against work; we just want the fruits of our labor to be recognized better.
Our Philosophies:
- All workers must be paid a living wage for their labor.
- Income inequality is the main cause of lower living standards.
- Workers must join together and fight back for what is rightfully theirs.
- We must not be divided and conquered. Workers gain the most when they focus on unifying issues.
Our Goals
- Higher wages for underpaid workers.
- Better worker representation, including but not limited to unions.
- Better and fewer working hours.
- Stimulating a massive wave of worker organizing in the United States and beyond.
- Organizing and supporting political causes and campaigns that put workers first.

MODERATORS
By nearly all objective metrics US healthcare outcomes are significantly worse now than when the ACA was passed, even before COVID. It has made the existing problems worse.
The working class has still not recovered from the housing crash. At no point since has the lost wealth returned.
The "passed protections" don't protect anyone they simply mask and slow the current crash that we are now experiencing-- reducing chaos and making that wealth transfer smoother.
As well as the DHS and police state expansions that Trump is currently weaponizing. And those 2 are arguable at best considering the role which that funding source has played in the proliferation of data centers since.
Are you referring to the "U.S. Citizenship Act of 2021" which despite many news reports did not get enacted, "Keeping Families Together" which was quickly adjudicated as "unlawful and unenforceabe", or the executive order re-instating DACA which was one of the key mechanisms by which Obama became "deporter in chief"?
Misinformed is not better than uninformed.
