The Democrats controlled both houses and the Presidency when the ACA passed In fact, they briefly held a supermajority in 2009.

I love this. It's not enough for the Democrats to control both houses, not even enough to have a supermajority . . . Now it has to be for years.

Meanwhile, the GOP has no issue forcing their agenda through with far less power.
