It has been really obvious that nothing has ever been done about the underlying issues that enabled nazism in the european continent and now we're all shocked that it's back in full swing.
Anyway, remember the "if you could go back in time, would you kill hitler?" idea? What if you lived during hitler? Purely thought experiments of course, don't be reckless and stupid
