Yes yes, more angry atheism.
But I again argue that knowledgeable atheism is more effective in fighting against the theocratic jackasses. Know thy enemy.
They don't follow their own book, and cannot really defend themselves against it when you tell them to shut the fuck up by quoting it back at them.
With that logic I would spend my life reading all the bullshit written by all the bullshiters. No thanks.
You don't need to read it all, I sure haven't, but I've read enough to be more effective in fighting back.
Really, the most useful passages are the Sheep and the Goats, Which is also a great song by Cake, The Camel in and the eye of a needle, and the line about the loud hypocrites not going to heaven.
If the theocrats can cherry-pick their book, then I can as well.
Also good to know, the fact that the entire Old Testament was written after Cyrus the Great of Persia toppled the Neo-Babylonian empire. So anything before the Babylonian exile is almost 100% invented (and a lot after as well, but there's more archeological support for later stuff, at least until the time of Jesus, when the book and reality diverge again, because that part was mostly written 300 years later)
