Really, the most useful passages are the Sheep and the Goats, Which is also a great song by Cake, The Camel in and the eye of a needle, and the line about the loud hypocrites not going to heaven.

Also good to know, the fact that the entire Old Testament was written after Cyrus the Great of Persia toppled the Neo-Babylonian empire. So anything before the Babylonian exile is almost 100% invented (and a lot after as well, but there's more archeological support for later stuff, at least until the time of Jesus, when the book and reality diverge again, because that part was mostly written 300 years later)
