Let's see the position of Mercury before we rush to any judgements about the capabilities of the US military.

nerd Retrograde is when the planet's direction of travel though the zodiacal constellations appears to temporarily reverse from our vantage on Earth, not that planet's position in the sky.

The following is an oversimplification, but Mercury and Venus spend a lot of time in retrograde because they are inside our orbit; they are in retrograde for much of the half of their orbit they pass between us and the sun. For planets outside Earth's orbit, they are in retrograde less often, basically when Earth is passing their (slower) orbit up.

Planets orbit faster the closer they are to the sun, so retrograde events happen frequently for Venus and Mercury, providing plenty of excuses for miscommunications and frustrated love.

It’s just a red herring. Every air force has a plane involved in a crash now and then.

Yes but not all of them are astrological. Some of them are due to having the wrong crystals on the dashboard and misaligning the energy fields of the plane. Others are due to a witch's curse.

That term exists in aviation for a reason. Rules are written in blood and tarot cards.

The f-35 was supposed to be unhexable with developments gleaned from the Allah Hexing Expedition, but like everything else the U.S. does it was over promised and under built. China is going to have the first truly hex stealthed fighter

A lot of pilots these days rely on computer systems instead of old-school aviation knowledge, like remembering that a witch cursed the Wright brothers in 1909 for misusing her magic in the Kittyhawk. New pilots forget the lessons of the past and then wonder why 9/11 happened.

The former happened a number of times in the documentary series, Stargate Atlantis

A herring is a type of fish and that's clearly a jet airplane.

Are you sure? “Herring” is close to “heron”, that sounds a bit 50/50 to me.
