#12: Star Trek: The Original Series, season 1, episode 8 "Miri"

Written by Adrian Spies, directed by Vincent McEveety.

Stardates 2713.5 through 2717.3 (July 2267)

"Look at the blood on my face. Now look at your hands. Blood on your hands. Now who's doing the hurting?" - Captain James Kirk

In a distant region of space, the Enterprise encounters a planet that appears to be an exact duplicate of Earth. But once on the surface, all they find is the decaying ruins of a civilization that once resembled 20th-century America. Hidden amongst those ruins are packs of children being led by children, but no adults to be found.
