I think everyone can feel it, but there's no way to prove it, nothing concrete our logical minds can point to conclusively. And of course, nothing ever happens.

But I think we can all feel it. The west, and the U.S. in particular, is at the endpoint of cultural collapse. The old system is dying and nobody knows how to put it back together. For the last 10+ years, things have been spinning increasingly out of control, as the old balance in the system breaks down and falls away.

This is an unusual point in history, a point where revolutions happen. There's going to be some dramatic change, and everything will be different, but we don't know exactly what that will be. A new system will be put in place, a new culture will be formed, and anything is possible. It may be far worse, or far better.

Liberals think that the evil demonic Trump is the cause of all this, but he's just a symptom. He could not have been elected in any other time, but he fits this time. He has no particular ideology, he rules via vibes and intuition. He is capable of anything.

But where are we headed? The left is in a totally broken state, with idpol fuckwits substantially controlling it, and traditional liberals clueless as to anything that's going on. Socialists are barely a part of the national conversation. The right is entirely reactionary, everything they do is simply an attempt to stop the most extreme of whatever the idpol left has been doing.

Who on the national scene has a vision of the future that a new society can be based on?
