Telling these people that as a non American i dont see any significant difference between the two is always met with patronizing bullshit that if you LIVED here then you'd know the difference and that anyone that doesnt live there shouldn't have an opinion as if the foreign policy of the most powerful military in the world doesnt matter. Also im Canadian and American politics effect us enough it gets more news coverage than our own government
I wanted to bait some people in the thread by telling them I voted for Claudia de la Cruz and prompt them to scold me, just for me to tell them that in Puerto Rico our vote was purely symbolic and their country is still a colonialist hellhole, but the post was removed
