This is uncharacteristic of the Democrats. Usually they spend a bit more time dangling the current moment's HOPE and CHANGE in front of the base before pulling it away like Lucy with the football. Do you think after 200 years they grow sick of The Hunt, like a worn-out and listless vampire?
