Ever had a really shitty bit idea? Joke you want to take way past the point of where it was funny? Want to feel like a stand-up comedy guy who's been bombing a set for the past 30 minutes straight and at this point is just saying shit to see if people react to it? Really bad pun? This is not a badpost, it is truth. Being a size centrist of any sort is the worst. I used to be 6’0” and probably… iunno… 400+ lbs?? (I didn’t stand on scales back then so I have no idea what I weighed, but at my biggest I was a size 54 waist in Carhartt pants and a 4XL in shirts so yeah I was big (no fat shaming here, just facts)) and could always find good clothes at second hand stores for next to nothing. Now I’m like, fairly athletic and a size large/xl in tops and a 32-34 in bottoms and… it is substantially more difficult to find good clothes on the cheap.
Don’t get me wrong, there’s clothes for me out there, but being big was tight (pun intended lol). Donations in big and tall sizes always seemed to exceed sales volumes, and a lot of big dudes wear Carhartt and other similar stuff because they’re one of the few off the rack brands that makes big sizes in decent quality. Being mostly average sucks because the good shit is harder to come by because the pool of people looking for it is substantially larger.
Centrism in all its forms is garbage.
I guess I just need to get jacked.
Wow that is significant weight loss. I bet Duluth Trading Co. is another good brand for big boys.
