Breadtube if it didn't suck.
Post videos you genuinely enjoy and want to share, duh. Celebrate the diversity of interests shared by chapochatters by posting a deep dive into Venetian kelp farming, I dunno. Also media criticism, bite-sized versions of left-wing theory, all the stuff you expected. But I am curious about that kelp farming thing now that you mentioned it.
Low effort / spam videos might be removed, especially weeb content.
There is a cytube that you can paste videos into and watch with whoever happens to be around. It's open submission unless there's something important to commandeer it with at the time.
A weekly watch party happens every Saturday (Sunday down under), with video nominations Saturday-Monday, voting Monday-Thursday. See the pin for whatever stage it's currently in.
I sincerely do not understand the appeal of multi-hour videos.
I dont mind it on paper but it needs to be a topic im REALLY into.
I love the deep dive into a topic that's very niche.
The same reason I love "The King of Kong"
Me after watching a movie over 90 mins
It has to be presented in an engaging enough way and centered on a topic that's actually interesting for me to even consider watching. But the ones that meet those criteria tend to be excellent in my experience.
I dunno that hbomberguy one about plagiarism kept my attention
I feel similar in the sense that if I watch a youtube vid that is longer than 30min it either needs to be really fun or informative (I sometimes watch tutorials for stuff)
