Are you re-uploading the same image for each new comment? It is probably better to copy paste the old image markdown, which means it will load faster for people (cached)

good suggestion, but I would really hope that the system would use hashes to notice that two uploads are identical and alias the physical blocks... it's not even technically that difficult
That's a good idea, but still transferring those blocks is a waste of bandwidth.

yeah it defeats caching which is the bigger problem when you multiply by lots of users, not diskspace
Good idea, I also went and lowered the resoloution (56k Warning!) Im not sure I'll keep it up for that long though I'm not a very frequent poster but your signature just got me nostalgic for the complete
type shit you would see in signature banners.
