Fascism is intertwined in history with basically all forms of left wing politics, how would he not know. And to keep it on?? If you don't treat it like a malignant growth after an 'awakening', you're either:

1. Still a complete dumbass and not to be trusted
2. A liar and DEFINITELY not to be trusted

He served four tours in Iraq helping murder Iraqi babies. The last time he wasn't in the military any more but he missed it so much that he joined a literal mercenary company so he could go back and help some more with the baby killing.
