I'm sorry, everyone, but I think I lathed this. Since the Ukraine War began I've been joking that liberals would excuse Nazi tattoos by saying "Just because he has a swastika on his chest doesn't mean we know what's in his heart." I didn't expect the boomerang to hit Maine so soon.

    Got me wondering if one of those islands in Alaska is closer but I think it's still Maine

    Wow I spend almost every day of my life staring at maps for hours and was still shocked. From what I can figure, Maine is still closer, but only just barely. I did not expect it to be that close of a competition at all

    Alaska is massive, there are islands south of Russia that are in Alaska. Also yeah I didn't realize how close it was, but I always forget the earth isn't flat
