my intention was not to make fun of french labour rights but rather to point out it's harder to get worked to the bone if you have labour rights to begin with, i see how it came across as the opposite, sorry for that
Then consider my post more of a general comment on french jokes.
I think it's more an artifact of Amerikkkans not being able to imagine taking a piss break without risking getting fired, with flavors of the general "har har Frenchies lost two world wars and
had to save them" despite the incredible string of Ls hanging on the neck of the burgerreich
