He has a short quest chain in act 2 and some dialogue about the events that caused the shadow curse. I can't recall if he does anything in act 3.i think there is definitely some issue with Timing. i've read that earlier dev posts (from Act 1 EA era) that said things like romances would be complicated/take time to get to. meanwhile Gale wants to get down immediately after a day or two (not hating just kinda wild how practicing magic went
). maybe bareback fucking isn't "romance" or maybe it is? if i compare it to idk like mass effect, those relationships took a lot of time to get anywhere near 
territory (and those games didn't have a penis slider).
edit: tho the game in general is just super horny so idk
