This shit is just baffling. Like, how would this correlate? Is it something about your genitals being different to your birth genitals that somehow makes you become a school shooter? Do people that have lost testes to cancer have these issues? Does circumcision just give you violent ideation but you don’t actually follow through?
More and more I can’t even be angry at right wing demagoguery anymore. I’m just confused how these things make sense even in their own brains. Do they think there’s like, a big transgender training camp that all the trans people go, that indoctrinates them to being mass killers?
Of course it’s all just manifested hatred and working backwards from there but god it’s a mindfuck.
I think they feel like this is an equal and opposite response to when libs call for gun control after a shooting.
They don't really see a difference between, say, a background check before purchasing a firearm and... straight up criminalizing a whole group of people just for existing. For a certain kind of chud, any limitations on purchasing and owning (deadly) property is just as much an infringement on a person's liberty as what Joey is suggesting.
