Ya chuds will fight an actual war to make sure that vaccines are banned.
Honestly I don't believe the state will put up much of a fight to defend public health.
The US has fucking both sided public health. Crazy.
Imagine it's late 2026 and the bird flu has mutated to allow person-to-person transmission. The US is facing a pandemic of what will be at best many million deaths. The republicans will - of course - have a messaging like "Pandemics are good because this culls the weak." Meanwhile - the democrats will be creepy on the qt. In public they'll make bland pronouncements about the importance of public health. But anybody with a brain will see the dems basic focus is in "winning" the situation and then benefiting in the 2028 elections.
