I game but I’m not g*mer. Have heard too much abiut this game. Never played a souls. I like story.

Tbh if you've played multiple souls games I'd just go with Sekiro at that point, though Nioh 1 is probably the closest. Worth noting that "parrying" in Sekiro is more similar to the blocking in other souls titles than the parrying, in that if you don't get the perfect timing, you still just do a normal souls block IE you lose stamina and take chip damage.
