Personally though, I'm more annoyed that this may fast-track the death of the federal EV rebate program. I really wanted my future slate truck to be around $20k.

Oh man, my son and I have been drooling over the Slate truck. We've been kicking around the idea of a '90s ranger electric conversion, but, the slate may mean we don't have to.
