What is global news?
Something that happened or was uncovered recently anywhere in the world. It doesn't have to have global implications. Just has to be informative in some way.
Post guidelines
Title format
Post title should mirror the news source title.
URL format
Post URL should be the original link to the article (even if paywalled) and archived copies left in the body. It allows avoiding duplicate posts when cross-posting.
[Opinion] prefix
Opinion (op-ed) articles must use [Opinion] prefix before the title.
Country prefix
Country prefix can be added to the title with a separator (|, :, etc.) where title is not clear enough from which country the news is coming from.

As a filthy vape user / hey at least I don't smoke cigarettes anymore:
Fucking good.
Disposables are an environmental nightmare, you can get a similarly sized, refillable vape for maybe twice the cost of one single use pod, but then after that you're only replacing pod+coils and refilling with juice you can buy as well.
Doing it that way is cheaper in the longrun for a vaper, is at least better for the environment, and also makes it so its probably more trouble than its worth for every small shop to stock a set of reusable vapes and pods and juice... which makes it less convenient, now you gotta go to a specialty shop, and making it less convenient for kids to newly get addicted to nicotine is a good fucking thing.
(for the record, no i do not use some insane rig that blows clouds of 'vape'... i use a roughly 4 inch long vape that barely makes any visible cloud in all but basically film noir detective's officr lighting conditions)
