There will be riots. Depriving a F*ench of their cigarettes is like depriving a fish of its water.
Isn't the word cigarette french?
Might as well be, they earned it.
“-ette” is french and is used to indicate smaller than the normal. A cigarette is a smaller cigar. “-chen” is used in a similar context in german for example.
The suffix ette implies feminity which then extends to the sixe thing. Cause girls couldn't handle cigars they made cigarettes and then cigarettes were what was shipped in your rations in ww1 and 2 and then that's what dudes smoked too.
