Multiple European states, including the UK and France, have recently threatened sanctions against specific Israeli ministers and Spain has even suggested an arms embargo against Israel.

I believe most of these nations see Israel as an extension of the US and have long considered the US to be the benevolent overlord of Europe. Are they now doubting the reliability or benevolence of their overlord because of how volatile Trump is? I think it's fair to say the genocide would've progressed in the exact same way if Harris was president but would Europe have reacted the same way?

I guess I'm just asking for people's opinions here because it's hard to know what goes on in the minds of the demons that run Europe.

they have yet to do dick.

also, pisrael never made sense to them as colonial outpost, they are on the receiving end of petrodollar, not guiding one. now they have shiny azerbaijan/saudi/uae compradors, who funnel money into eu of "their own volition", in comparison to isntreal who doesn't do dick for them.

Europe hasn't done anything, that's true, but you're also saying it makes no sense for Europe to support the colonization of Palestine in the first place? Why do they support it, then? Is it simply racism?

it doesn't make sense after iraq (if we talk strict state interests), middle east (as in oil producers) is completely cowed, and has been investing in europe (paying tribute) for decades. that's skipping how usa fuckery causes migrants inflows (allegedly a problem for europe).

inertia and racism, yeah.

And don't forget about the guilt pride!

guilt pride is just the PR - the superstructure - sold by the elite to justify their material interests. Its not the motivating factor.

No, I will heavily dispute the simplification into just racism. The us used west german's nazi elite to launder their reputation through israel to sell the PR of "(west) germany learned from its past" to the rest of their european allies. Both the UK & France invaded, in tandem with the Zionist, egypt and used israhell to further their sphere of influence in the region. It's also a very big export market for european arms industry and training grounds for the pigs worldwide. The archbishop of cologne and even certain kinds of media outlets (axel-springer verlag) are landlords in occupied palestine.

Its both an extra market as well as a method to buy the goodwill of the americans. Thats why europeans support israel. Europeans could do without israel, in fact the evangelical Zionist movement (outside germany) is barely existent in the rest of europe and so the bar is lower than in america.
