whataboutism just ends up serving to remove any context. which is convenient because china and others are only really that bad if you remove all context.

the west is the biggest empire and murder and suffering machine in history. we are looking at improvement. none of these accusations hold a candle to the current hegemon.

and if solving these issues overnight is the only acceptable solution, i don't really know what to tell you.

i suspect that comes from the empires own "whataboutism" but what do i know.
