Just when you think Chris Roberts' retirement fund program brrrrrrrrrrrr couldn't get anymore absurd, they manage to surprise. Even the so-true long time backers thought it was going too far.

I don't see anything functionally different between what Star Citizen does, and what the most popular titles of the day do. At least Star Citizen is targeting middle aged space sim fans and not literal children.
