Rules
AI Art: While we appreciate AI generated art, there are more appropriate communities to post that type of art to. Please keep posts to non-AI generated art only. This rule includes AI art that was then manually manipulated (e.g. drawing on top of something generated by AI).
Nudity: Nudity is and has always been a part of art, but it may be something that some users don't wish to see or cannot view in certain circumstances (e.g. at work). If your work contains nudity, please mark it as NSFW. Work that contains nudity that is not marked as NSFW will be taken down. As long as the NSFW tag is used, we welcome nude subject matter.
Spam: Please do not spam this community. Self promotion is fine if you just want people to be aware of your work, but blatant attempts at spam will result in the past being removed and possibly a ban. If you aren't sure if what you are posting is spam, please contact the moderator first.
Conduct: Be nice, and don't be a jerk. Constructive criticism is OK, but don't be mean. Encouragement is always welcomed.

But how do you set your devices up on the easel? Or do you draw on your lap? Do you draw standing up or sitting down?
Oh and for sketchbook I found a brush that lays out the boxes for me since the app doesn't support it natively.

The art studio has a small folding table I keep near just in case but mostly hold the tablet in my lap. The same when I'm on my couch painting or what have you.
My posture sucks, I had a few back surgeries as a kid to help but it's still pretty bad. It's comfortable for me but most seating positions I use in cars for example everyone else hates.
Thanks for explaining, as a digital artist I always feel out of place in these situations and I never know where to put my stuff or how to work alongside all the analog artists. Sometimes I just sit on the floor, with everyone else, towering (almost tripping) over me, standing by their easels. Very out of place.
That's pretty much how it is for me. When I started I was so far behind the other artists ability, now there are only two artists I feel are ahead of me. Oddly that makes me feel legitimate, like I belong.
To be fair, Craig, who owns the space has been completely welcoming and encouraging the whole time and so has every artist I've talked to there. It's my own insecurities.
