I find it hilarious that the things people viewed as insecurities like blushing and undereye circles, are now being more romanticised. When I was in school, people would make fun of me for blushing, and now those same people are putting a fuck ton of blush on their face. Or with undereye circles, they're leaving a bit unconcealed so they can have an "in-built smokey eye"
Beauty trends are so freaking dumb. 😍
Not as nuts a tooth blackening or painting blue veins on your décolletage
Taking a little arsenic to look pale.
Let's not forget painting nails with radium.

To make matters worse: blokes are totally oblivious to it all. I wouldn't notice or care what makeup you had on (or didn't) so long as you are happy.
The nose make up thing at the moment is really odd. I see it on insta all the time.
If done lightly it kinda looks cool, but yeah it's weird.
I'm not really on any of the 'hip' socials. Do you mind if I ask what the 'nose makeup' trend is?
