I think that's just because it's become kind of the general instance now that Lemmy dot world keeps having its hamster wheel powered servers self combust. I'm sure there are plenty of cool people on there as well because of that, just drowned out by endless liberalism.

I think it's because the people motivated enough to respond here are always doing so because they were triggered. The normal people aren't triggered. They might read a bit of the struggle session and say nothing. That's all.

Eventually over time those people became members of CTH back in the day. So give it time. I have noticed that we've gone up by about 100 active users per day in the last week. Many of these are probably chapos dragged out of their hole by the entertainment of the battles happening on /all/ but I also suspect we are attracting a few people.

I am hopeful that lemmyworld's problems continue indefinitely until lemm.ee takes the leadership role as it seems run by people of sounder mind. Their moderation of hate is stronger, transphobia is better, and they're not banning the socialists. It's the one we ought to promote.

this way of using the word triggered really undercuts PTSD and it originates from reactionary groups - can we please not replicate it here?

Sure I don't mind taking that on-board I've never really run into anyone criticising it, do you have alternative suggestions that can replace it while adequately describing the same phenomenon?
