You underestimate how easy it is to travel one county over to attend a rally.

I want AOC and Bernie to succeed. But if we pretend they are earning Republican votes when they aren’t then we will lose the next election cycle again and we can’t afford that.

As indicated by .hexbear and .ml there are a number of people who will only vote for an ideal and won't vote for a compromise. These are the "independents/undecideds" that determine elections. Dem and fascist voters are already with the party. Dems a lot less zealous and more willing to hold their leaders accountable at least sometimes.

.hexbear and .ml are both tankie communities that ban people who point out that Russia invaded Ukraine.

For all intents and purposes they are bot farms for foreign actors.

They don’t vote in America or argue in good faith.

Don't forget the propaganda! Like how Russias invasion was just a lil diplomatic maneuver

or even calling out that Jill Stein is a Russian agent

Many of our counties are larger than many states east of the Mississippi

I attended one of the rallies in my home state, which is a red state. The rally was in a red county.

I live in the highest population county in the state though so my county is blue.

Many of the people from my county went to the red county to attend.
