Usual caveat that corporations aren't our friends, including Bandai Namco (Interpret This 
Bandai Executives), Joyce's quote from Disco Elysium, etc. But I had the chance to see the preview movie in theatres and this show has got to be my most anticipated anime of the year so far.
Visually this looks pretty good, but man was the episode just a tiny sliver of every single thing I wish they stayed away from all in a row. Could still turn out great though, fingers crossed.
What were the things you disliked, if you don’t mind me asking?
I'm sure I'm forgetting some, but here's a list
Ah ok, I asked because I was worried I had overlooked something problematic but these seem to be (totally fair) personal preferences- only thing I'll say is that this show is a "What if" scenario of the original UC, that is actually going to lean on and do some interesting things with stuff like Char's characterization so definitely give next week's ep a shot
