I'd like to thank everyone for my most upvoted post on lemmy ever. Not only have you upvoted it to the top for like 2 days you commented the shit out of it. I'd like to take this opportunity to say fuck the mods of this instance. This was my second post coming off a 30 day ban and I want to say these fucking mods have been nothing but bitches. I've never been more attacked on any other instance, subreddit, forum, etc. then I have been in this fucking instance. Not only have I been attacked I've been told my memes arent memey enough again and again.

I'll be honest, I do not know how to make a meme but I keep posting just to piss in these mods cheerios.

Thanks lemmy.world/politicalmemes for being the worst community I've ever been a part of.

kind of sucks the people we got now gathered more votes than the alternative, what is important is that the electorate witness what a shit choice they made

the EC had always benefitted the red states over blue ones, the founding fathers thought, the rural areas needed more "representation", they did not forsee this.

Don't get me wrong, I wouldn't mind some drastic changes. Just things are never straight forward or simple. Putin would love to see us collapse inward. I think one of the biggest mistakes america ever made wasn't just citizens united but how cheap it is overall to buy our government. Obviously, government shouldn't be for sale at all but years of lobbiest and weak political candidates selling out made our politicians dirt cheap and I'm always surprised to see what it cost to buy in.

Like I look at elon musk, he spent what, $100,000,000? He makes that like what, every 3 hours? Now he gets unfettered access to everything, jesus.

We need to start somewhere. I've seen enough protests to know they haven't peaked yet. I think a general strike could really put some fear in these capitalists hearts. End of the day, though, we can't worry about putin, and that sucks for the rest of the world but man we are somehow taking a beating. Not to overshadow what Ukraine is going through.

he could have bought congress for less than half that.

But why would he, his besty putin already paid, he'll just use his account.
