this is the handiest I have ever felt

someone had already posted the shape online so it was really simple

likely PLA, it's been what's been most common.

So, luckily, the boot heel on the ski doesn't actually bear any load when you're skiing. The attachment point for the bindings is a ledge above the boot heel, and that's where all the load is.

The heels just have to get me from the parking lot to the snow, which is why I felt okay with 3D printing the replacement (that and Nordica wants $15+$10 shipping for a piece of plastic).

If it doesn't work, PETG is a similarly easy to print filament that has better mechanical properties

I'd imagine TPU would be a good option as well
