Israelis still see themselves as the victim from something that happened 80 years ago. I think they truly believe they are still the victims. They see themselves as being the chosen people who have been persecuted all throughout history.
Religion is cancer. All religion.
Israel is either going to have a reckoning with itself soon or I assume it will eventually cease to exist.
Hopefully the younger generations of Israeli’s are seeing that their leadership is actively supporting and eagerly engaging in genocide and war crimes.
Unfortunately many of the Israeli’s who do see what the fascist government is doing move out, which keeps the people in the country extremely conservative and right wing.
