Unrelated to the previous fact, from 1778 to 1871 the United States government entered into more than 500 treaties with Indigenous groups, of which literally every single treaty has been broken or violated by the United States government, leaving the same Native groups fighting for treaty rights even into the present day as violations only continue.
Unrelated to the previous two facts, in February 2024 Norwegian defense minister Bjørn Arild Gram and US ambassador to Norway Marc Nathanson signed an amendment to the Supplementary Defense Cooperation Agreement of 2022, tripling the number of military facilities in Norway that the US armed forces have access to. This amendment was ratified by the Norwegian parliament in May.
I dunno, I just thought those were some interesting facts, but as said they have nothing to do with one another. Absolutely nothing at all.
