I renounce my original stance of trying to compare him to Unabomber.

The aftermath of this socio economic ripple and their popularity is what also matters, alongside how they did a careful hit (The shooter and Tetsuya)

This was always my take and I can't help but wonder if Yamagami inspired Luigi, we know from some of his posts that he could be a bit of a weeb so there's a very good chance he'd be aware of what happened
