i agree with you. though i am of the opinion it would probably have been bad if the guy turned out to be like "I did this to further the cause of Marxism-Leninism". i don't really understand why people were hoping for that. and i think people are still trying to glaze him on here a bit much like we can just admit he is a rwnj he doesn't have to be a good person for it to be funny or whatever
Yeah, if someone like this turns out to be a left-wing radical, it'll be used to justify crackdowns on leftists, if someone like this turns out to be a right-wing radical, it'll legitimize rightism as "the voice of the people". There's really a pretty narrow range of opinions I was necessarily hoping this guy had.
