I was literally just staring at it on my Xbox yesterday, I haven’t played since I “beat” it in 2016 or so. Are all the updates enough to make it worth another play through?
I think so, because you have the option to start from scratch, or start from a previous save. I started with a year-old save that was already year 5, and I'm running around like year 1 again (which I like). Besides the new achievements available, the art has been updated, QOL has been taken into account, there's a new farm, a mastery system, new events and festivals, new items/crops have been added, and my personal favorite is the addition of multiple pets. Probably 20-30 hours more of content for normal players, possibly more. I haven't read too much because I'm enjoying not being spoiled on it. ...So yeah, I think even old school players will enjoy picking it up again, if only just to collect all the new stuff.
