I used to be afraid to be naked around the other guys so I'd always quickly towel off and get changed still being damp and miserable in the cold air. Who's bright idea was it to go swimming in the middle of winter? At least in high school when we did swimming stuff it was in the spring around the end of the school year, y'know when water actually feels good.

Thankfully it was an indoor heated pool but yeah you felt it coming back outside.

Many cases of frostbite/numbness from the transition?

Omg I remember visiting florida as a wee lass and I was dying outside in the heat but then you go inside and it's like too cold cos of the air con and I was shivering. It's so wild like wtf I can't hack that. I'm a fragile brit. I need the gloom of overcast to function.
