If there's a problem with comm culture then a discussion should have been made about what could be done on both the users, and the mods ends to improve the comms in a more positive direction. Things like - finding a better name, healthier site usage habits, combating misogyny, racism, etc, and pushing back against irony poisoning. But clearly there is a problem with the moderation itself if this is the attitude that the a large portion of the mod team has towards the userbase.
