Hasn't Shigurui been finished for a long time? It's just the one fight and its backstory, not the whole original novel.

I dunno. I know season 2 of the anime never happened because at the time the manga wasn't done and they didn't want to make changes. But that was over a decade ago and there still isn't an official English translation.
